Llantailog Valley - A layout based on a Welsh heritage railway with small slate museum. Run by multiple live steam locomotives with some diesel backups.

The Yorkshire Garden Railway Show will be returning to Elsecar Heritage Centre on the 10th October 2026. We’ll be back in the Ironworks building which has undergone recent refurbishment, creating extra space that we’ll use for large live steam layouts and traders from across our hobby.
Amongst the layouts, you’ll find “Fare to Middlin”, the new Yorkshire exhibition layout at its debut show. And you’ll find traders displaying steam and battery-powered locomotives, rolling stock, track, buildings, bridges, books, materials and many accessories.
