We have been asked to publish this statement from Warners Midlands Ltd, who print the Association’s magazines, about the November issue of Bulletin.

Statement

We would like to extend our sincere apologies for the recent issue affecting a small number of copies of the Bulletin. This error was entirely ours and in no way reflects on the Association.

The problem occurred during the stitching process when an incorrect section was mistakenly loaded onto the stitching line. Normally, our system detects duplicate sections, but on this occasion, the alert was overridden before being corrected, which unfortunately allowed a handful of faulty copies to pass through.

Please contact paulevans@warners.co.uk to arrange a replacement copy of November Bulletin if you have been affected by this error.

We take great pride in our high standards of quality control, and we deeply regret that this mistake has let the Association and its members down. As part of our corrective action, we have raised a non-conformance under our ISO9001 quality procedure. This will be fully reviewed to ensure appropriate remedial measures are implemented. Human errors of this nature are logged and monitored to prevent recurrence.

Warners has enjoyed a strong and trusted partnership with the Association for over ten years, and this is the first issue of its kind. We value this relationship greatly and want to reassure you that we are committed to maintaining the highest standards and ensuring this does not happen again.

Once again, we apologise to all members affected and thank you for your understanding as we take steps to strengthen our processes and uphold the quality you expect from us.
