The first mailing of this year, comprising the February 2020 issues of SMT and Bulletin, the 2020 National Garden Railway Show Guide, the 2019 Annual Report and finally, a book of 10 raffle tickets for the 2020 Grand Draw, was collected by Royal Mail from Warners in Bourne this afternoon. Mailing to UK addresses is first class and to members overseas is by Air Mail. The entire mailing was collected today. Most packages will start arriving at UK addresses on Saturday whilst others will follow on Monday or Tuesday next week. Those to overseas members will arrive somewhat later.
If you’ve already set your password for the new Members Only site then you’re not reliant on your copies arriving tomorrow, as SMT, Bulletin, the Show Guide and the Annual Report will all be downloadable from the site from 09:00 tomorrow morning. All members with an email address have already been invited to join, but if you were expecting an invitation and haven’t received one, or can’t find it, send a email to email@example.com quoting your surname, membership number and postal code and we’ll do our best to invite you as soon as we can.
Your personalised renewal form is on the back of the address carrier sheet used to mail the package. The data used to prepare it was extracted on 5th February so will not reflect renewal activity after this point. If you renewed by taking out a new Direct Debit in the week before this date, this may not be reflected in the renewal request, because putting the Direct Debit in place was in process when the data was extracted. If you’ve asked us to cancel your subscription after this mailing, this will be reflected in the renewal request.

I expect lines to be busy in the first few days of next week as members renew by phone – waiting a week to renew your membership subscription is perfectly acceptable and may avoid waiting in a queue.
