I'm a chartered engineer, working in aerospace engineering. I enjoy building and running engines and stock with my 6-year old son, his recent request for more speed was "forgotten about". I am keen to encourage and involve younger children - the future of our hobby.

I am active in our local group, the nominated boiler tester. Over the last five years I have been a MOTY judge and steward at the AGM.

Personally I am interested in modelling the Lynton and Barnstaple railway, I also worked in Africa for 4 years where the large narrow gauge African thing bit deep!
