I'm member number 1535 and the earliest SMT in my collection is number 39, which shows I've been a member since 1987. I've been a fairly active modeller since then and I've always kept in touch with things 16mm, mainly through the East Midlands Group of the Association and the Mailing List. I have on occasion contributed articles to SMT and run a Web Site for my Mid-Derbyshire Light Railway: www.mdlr.co.uk

I've now decided that it's time to give something back to the Association that has given me so much enjoyment over the years, hence I'm offering myself up for election (or should that be sacrifice?).
